The Ordinary Niacinamide Vs Vitamin C Quiz is here! It was inevitable given the success of The Ordinary quiz and Niacinamide vs Vitamin C posts.

There is something fundamentally confusing about The Ordinary, you shouldn’t need a science degree to figure out what’s in your skincare.

This is where Science and Skincare comes in. As The Ordinary genuinely is confusing, this quiz will help you figure out which ingredient you should use.

If you read my Niacinamide vs Vitamin C before, you’ll know that these ingredients are both for hyperpigmentation. That’s not to say they can’t do other things but generally that’s what they’re for.

There is a subtle difference between the two, which is very much dependant on what kind of hyperpigmentation you have.

The other important difference to consider is your skin type. By this, I mean how your skin feels most of the time.

More importantly, The Ordinary recommends you don’t mix any of these products. Hence, I only recommend trying one thing and patch testing. This will prevent damage to the skin!

So, what did you get? Will you be trying your recommendation? I sincerely hoped this helped you decide which ingredient is for you because it took a long time configure this quiz.

Lastly, it’s important to note, neither of these ingredient will treat acne, retinol is best for that. That is a question because it can show what your skin type is.

However, if I had to choose one to add to an acne routine, it would be Vitamin C. As it has stronger antioxidant properties. It’s also good at removing bumps from the skin!
