Biologique Recherche: Everything you need to know

I was stumbling through my sister’s skincare collection when I found the, so proclaimed magical, p50 balancing exfoliator. I without hesitation tried it, expecting an overnight miracle but what I saw was far from. Really nothing had happened.  And as ANY reasonable person would have done I turned to Instagram to see if anyone else […]

Still baffles me to this day. #meme #skincarecommunity
Last of make-up week is a @pixibeauty appreciation post - what would I do without pixi glow tonic? Completley changed my skin when I discovered it in 2016. I literally don't know what I'd do without it and I really think its the one thing EVERYONE should have in their regime! They also expanded into make-up and did not disappoint! #skincarecommunity #skincare #pixi
CBD vs Hemp Seed Oil: The difference. I bought Kush mascara from the @milkmakeup London pop up recently, mainly because the assistant at the shop told me it had CBD in it and its great for lashes! Because CBD is such a hot beauty trend right now I really wanted to try it. Much to my dismay, I soon found out it's not Cannabidiol (CBD) 😢 Its Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil. The difference is the part of the plant that has been extracted. The seeds don't have any cannabinoids. They won't get you high, they won't calm anxiety etc. CBD IS gaining major popularity in the beauty industry because it has some great Vitamins like A and E. It even has some anti-inflammatory properties. I am actually not 100% on the regulation on CBD in the UK right now. But I'll have to wait a bit longer to see how well CBD actually works. I don't love how much emphasis there is on Cannabis with marketing the product becasue I can't see what major effect it has on the usefulness of the mascara. However, don't let this put you off. Its still a really good mascara. The packaging is very luxe and definetly adds to the appeal. It has one of those little excess mascara extractor's at the nozzle meaning you don't get clumpy lashes. You get really long, thick ones. It's great because it makes making your lashes look thick and healthy so easy. Are you on the CBD hype?? *don't mind my 2 yr old niece's hand in pic 2. Helping me get those shots 📸❤
I haven't posted in FOREVER and I missed it so much but I wasn't 100% on what I should post as I'm pretty sure you guys know my morning and night routines pretty well by now! I realised I have a few make up bits to review. So, this week is all about make up - starting with the @ctilburymakeup limited edition stars in your eyes palette. Before you say 'Farwa, you can't buy that anymore' I know, BUT you can buy the shadows in different palettes which are ALWAYS avaliable! I can't even describe how glorious these shadows are! They are like putting very easily transferable (i.e easy to blend), extremely pigmented silk all over your eyes. So, so worth the investment - they last a good while. Generally, a eyeshadow quad is £40 but if you like to stick to a colour palette, then a Charlotte tilbs palette is the ONE. And if you still really want this one check ebay! *pr gift
Sulfur Part 2. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There is always a lot to say on ingredients in skincare and a synopsis of what they can do and how they are used isn't easy to condense. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But I wanted to do a part 2 on Sulfur because I think generally, ingredients like sulfur need to be used with care. With time I realized I had other done it with products that were stripping my skin, but because I was obsessed with the result I was overusing things like glycolic acid and salicylic acid. From that I learned a lot about keeping balance in my skin and the fact that it is very hard to get your skin back to a good condition once damage is done.
My current night routine every single night is to cook, eat, workout, clean and then have a LONG, warm shower. Honestly, its very satisfying to do so much at the end of the day and have the morning to relax a bit more. 10/10 would recommend Some of my in shower essentials atm: @phillip_kingsley Shampoo which is running out awfully quickly. I may try something more hydrating when this runs out @fur_you exfoliating scrub and some other out of shower stuff not pictured @lihabeauty - Body oil @kaianaturals - Charcoal deodorant #skincarecommunity
Throwback to the time I interviewed @beaute.defile for my instagram beauty legends blog series (who also took this gorg 📸). I am so grateful to everybody who collaborates on my blog with me, @lucyparts @sharmtoaster @elsiejrutterford to name just a few. Being able to interview so many incredible people in the beauty industry has been one of my 2018 highlights! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #skincare #skincarecommunity #beautycommunity #beauty #throwbackthursday #throwback #interview #blog
I love my charcoal masks, as I get older and certain areas of my skin get more oily I rely on Charcoal so much more to keep those areas clean and I think it works! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #superstaringredient #skincare #skincarecommunity #beautyblogger #discoverunder10k #bblogger science #beauty #beautycommunity #blogger
