Good Molecules Launch Glycolic Exfoliating Toner

Good Molecules is back with what seems like their first launch in a long time. And it’s a good one.

The brand is launching their very own glycolic acid toner. This kind of a product is much sought after in the beauty community because glycolic acid is said to do wonders for the skin.

There competitor brands (The Ordinary and Pixi) came out with their own versions of this a long time ago. They are constantly pitted against each other. So, this launch is a nice surprise, it gives consumer the opportunity to branch out from the classics.

Why would you buy this?

Simply put, to exfoliate your skin.

The key ingredients suggests, to me, that this is for those of you who want to try glycolic acid but have sensitive skin.

If you’ve tried Pixi or The Ordinary and they irritated your skin, this one might be for you. Why? Because it has less acid and at a higher pH.

If you remember from other posts, a higher pH (closer to 7) means it’s less acidic, therefore less irritating. Or at least less potential to irritate your skin.

Furthermore, ingredients like Aloe, HA and Galactomyces ferment mean it can keep your skin nourished at the same time.

That means, if you’ve been wanting the excellent exfoliating benefits of glycolic acid in your routine and haven’t had luck before, this could be your golden ticket.
