Shop My Routine, 18th January 2021

I’m not sure if you’ll remember but I used to have a category on Science and Skincare that was all about sharing which products I’m using with you.

I hadn’t posted anything in it for awhile, I wasn’t sure if you found it useful. However, I want to bring it back because I find it cathartic to share.

So, today we have:

A very, very quick routine because I cannot wait to get into bed. These are just the things I’ve reached for the most recently.

We have:

Neals Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Balm. This is a beautiful product and I hardly ever say that about any skincare item! If you have dry skin, please try this. It’s a multipurpose, soothing, gentle and lightly fragrant rose balm.

WLDKAT Skin Coconut Water + Noni Fruit Mist and Patchouli Gel Cleanser. This is a new relatively new brand for me. I actually interviewed the founder, Amy Zunzunegui, at the end of last year. She used to work at Urban Decay (she is the genius behind the Naked Palette). The brand is SO well thought through. From its personality to its ingredients, it’s been really refreshing to try them out.

Skingredients Skin Protein. Funnily enough I interviewed the founder of Skingredients too! Jennifer Rock is an extremely knowledgeable women but I will refrain from shoving more content down your throat. Anyway, this is the first time I’m using this and I love the texture so far!

Forest of Rhapsody Green Nectar. I’m not making this up. I did actually interview the founder of this brand too! I used this as a serum and love the hydration it gave my skin! A new brand for me again but I really like it and what it stands for.

Let me know if you like this series!

Mandelic Acid vs Retinol

Mandelic Acid vs Retinol? Which one is right for you? Can you use both? If these are questions that have crossed your mind lately, then you’ve come to the right place.
