Jones Road Is The New Beauty Venture From Makeup Mogul, Bobbi Brown

She left her namesake brand in 2016 and now Bobbi Brown is ready for her comeback.

Jones Road is her new clean beauty brand, which she has targeted at all age groups, skin types and skin tones.

Anyone who is a fan of Brown knows her look is about amplifying your natural beauty.

“I never thought I’d come back to the cosmetics industry, but I’ve realized how much I love being a makeup artist — that’s what I studied in college. More than anything, I love doing makeup,” said Brown. “I realised, ‘You know what, I still have it,’ and I have this idea that I really need to teach people. I honestly think people look better with less makeup,”

The major difference between Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and Jones Road is that natural calls for less product.

The product line

Miracle Balm – A light reflecting moisturiser that you can place over foundation in many different places to achieve a natural glow.

Cool Gloss – Lightweight, plumping lipgloss

The Best Pencil – A highly pigmented eyeliner

The Mascara – An inky, ultra pigmented mascara

Just A Sec – A powdery but never powdery eyeshadow, that is super easy to blend

Sparkle wash – Shimmering, liquid eyeshadow

Bobbi Brown believes this is all women need to look their best. Brown noted that this was a philosophy she developed when she was promoting her ninth book. She told WWD;

“When I was promoting my books as part of the brand, I had stylists and p.r. people and cars and drivers,” said Brown. “When I promoted a book after [I left Bobbi Brown], I’d get a blowout from one of those places, and show up in the studio in jeans and sneakers — and me doing my own makeup by the way — and I felt, ‘Wow, this is who I really am.’ I really liked being my simple, normal self.”

In the same interview Brown observed that a whole new generation of women have decided to do things in a different way.

 “People wear makeup differently now than they used to — it’s not about covering up every imperfection, it’s about how you could look better.”
