Tennis champion and entrepreneur Maria Sharapova has made an investment in Therabody, formerly known as Theragun, the global leader in tech wellness and percussive massage therapy.
Throughout my career, as both an athlete and entrepreneur, it’s been important to me to work with brands and partners that have great potential and can have a positive impact. ince Therabody’s launch, they have continued to demonstrate they are on the cutting-edge of combining technology, fitness, and wellness, bringing more balance to people’s lives. I’m thrilled to join the team as they continue their mission to transform and revolutionize the tech wellness space

Theragun was created in 2008 and officially launched in 2016 by chiropractor Dr. Jason Wersland after he suffered a life-altering injury.
Using a decade of research, the brand’s Theragun Percussive Massage Therapy devices use proprietary state-of-the-art technology to effectively reduce muscle tension, accelerate recovery, and improve performance.
This year, Theragun rebranded to Therabody, continuing its mission to provide natural wellness solutions through innovation in the percussive massage therapy space as well as launching its own US grown and USDA Certified Organic CBD line, TheraOne.
Outside of being a tennis champion, Maria is the founder and CEO of her premium candy brand Sugarpova, where she oversees the day-to-day decision-making and growth of the company. She is also an active investor and mentor, supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs.
